ASC student at FEMTEC winter school

‘I embarked on a week-long trip to Berlin with the Femtec Network. As a recipient of the Career Building Scholarship, I engaged with a vibrant community of women passionate about technology and the sciences. Collaborating with professionals from diverse backgrounds, we collectively tackled contemporary challenges and explored innovative solutions. In Berlin, I participated in enlightening career-building workshops at Technische Universität Berlin, focusing on key topics such as confidence-building, assertiveness, and networking. Subsequently, we enjoyed four-days field trips to several partner companies of the Femtec Network, including Evonic, Deutsche Telekom, ABB, and Porsche. These visits provided valuable insights into cutting-edge research and potential career paths, offering an informative and enjoyable glimpse behind the scenes at these esteemed organizations.’
