Prof. Harald Haas reads Selected Topics in ASC

In summer semester 2024 Prof. Harald Haas (University of Strathclyde, UK) will read Selected Topics in ASC. Professor Haas is a Distinguished Professor at the University of Strathclyde/Glasgow and a Visiting Professor at the University of Edinburgh.

Professor Harald Haas is one of the most visible and most cited researchers in the area of wireless communications. He invented spatial modulation, a new and revolutionary modulation format for wireless communication systems, and he pioneered visible light communication systems. His work on LiFi optical wireless became known to a broader public through two TED talks, which have been viewed more than 2.7 Mio times, respectively. In Germany, he will continue his groundbreaking work towards Terabit free space optical communications.
